That's the dilemma. Releasing separately is hard for users to figure out. Releasing together means release cycles are longer because a single component is not yet ready.
I'd prefer the unified release myself but how would we get past that hurdle?
And if all else fails, I'll fall back on the "be like Spring" argument. :)
Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with Spring to know what that means :-)
On a related topic, I think if we're going to do the 'tag it, build it, and vote on quality later' thing, it has to be okay to 'skip' version numbers. (Something IIRC Craig and Sean said they were not in favor of.)
What's the objection to skipping versions? Greg
