1. At the top, tell the prospective committer that if they have already submitted an ICLA, stop and email the PMC that they have submitted the ICLA with their public name. If the ICLA did not already contain their requested id, include it in the message. The PMC can then directly request the account. 2. At step 3, update the page with the current ICLA fields including the check box for family name first. In the To be noticed, include: - tick the family first box - leave the public name empty or add a name with more than a single word; this is not an id - include your complete postal address where you receive postal mail, not a conference room or corporate address - if you sign with a gpg signature, be sure that the email in the public key matches the email on the form - 3. At step 5, replace After signing, send the icla.pdf command as username-icla.pdf to the email address provided by the instructor with After signing, send the saved icla.pdf file to the email address secret...@apache.org.
