I moved shindig CI off to my own Jenkins server in my garage. The grid at ASF was always overloaded and we were not getting feedback fast enough.
If you've added more slaves I'd consider re-enabling the jobs over there. Right now we get feedback really fast, 10-20 minutes from each checkin.
