Paul, I am +1 =) Its a good time to align both version releases.
And I think we already got positives votes from different orgs that use Shindig from prev email thread about changing the next major Shindig version release from 3.0.0 to 2.5.0. This purpose of this email discussion thread is to describe the proposal I am thinking for future release versions of Shindig.
