If you are going to be in Portland, OR for OSCON or any other reason
on July 16th & 17th, the Apache Shindig & Apache Rave communities will
be participating in a couple of events that you might find of
interest. Both events are open to EVERYONE, regardless of experience
with the software.

1) What: Social & Widgets pre-conference session at OSCON
When: Monday, July 16th at 9:00 AM
Where: Room E142, Oregon Convention Center, Portland, Oregon
Description:
Rave & Shindig will be participating in the Apache@OSCON
pre-conference sessions. The event is a combined barcamp & hackathon.
2) What: Shindig & Rave Meetup
When: Tuesday, July 17th at 7:00 PM
Where: Spirit of 77, Portland, Oregon
Description:
The OpenSocial Foundation is hosting a combined Shindig & Rave
meetup where they will be providing FREE BEER & food. Come and
celebrate some of the major milestones in Rave, Shindig & OpenSocial.
