Removing Support For osx:Variable In Favor Of os:Var

We are looking at implementing support for os:Var in Shindig 2.5.
 Currently Shindig supports osx:Variable which does the same thing as
os:Var but is not spec compliant.  How do people feel about removing
support for osx:Variable in 2.5?
