Hi Christophe, I did find a reference to it in an extended XSD in the 0.9 version of the spec [1] but there is no other mention of what it is or what it should do. As for Shindig, here's what I can tell you: it's a boolean and it can be requested to be included as part of the gadget metadata JSON that is returned from the server. Other than that, there's nothing on the client side in Shindig trunk to handle this property.
My guess is that it is an old concept that has fallen to the wayside and legacy code still references it. I would not try to rely on it for anything if I were you.
