We first had it in for 1.1.0, then pulled it out (see
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.apache.shiro.devel/5). At the end of the
day, we were thinking that Apache Extras would be a better place for it but
there was no firm decision (or action on it) so I left the issue open. Alan had
created a project for it in Apache Extras but didn't commit the code
(http://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/atlassian-crowd-realm/) That's
still the status at the moment.
