First off, this site looks GREAT!
Thanks :-)
We need to make sure that the website branding lines up with the branding
rules, here:
http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs.html#websites
I applied some of the recommendations of that page:
* Added a link to http://www.apache.org in the top navigation bar.
* Added a link to http://www.apache.org/licenses/ in the menu of the left.
* Added ^(TM) in the home Maven page, Javadoc overview page and
developer guide page.
* Added "Apache SIS, Apache, the Apache feather logo, and the Apache
SIS project logo are trademarks of The Apache Software Foundation"
in the bottom of the home Maven page.
However I did not applied the instructions on the "Project metadata"
section in http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs.html#metadata
since I'm not familiar with this procedure. Is there some volunteer for
that part?
In fact, Adam this is something that we should create a JIRA issue for and that
you need
to report out on the board report. We can all help...
Yes, it sound like a topic for a JIRA task...
Maybe something to the "Who We Are" page (team list) and then maybe to the
"Home" page (basic project description). Those
would be my thoughts.
Done. But I wonder if we should point "who we are" to some hand-made
description (if there is any volunteer for writing it)?
The good news is that Maven and the Apache CMS work together (or are starting
to). These threads
will help. I think we can build off the auto Maven site and the CMS and get our
site built out! :)

Cool :-)
