Wow that looks great! Yep I'm interested in transferring this to SIS. I see SIS
evolving as a combination of the core QuadTree + Location
Service that we built + all the GeoAPI and GeoTK stuff you guys were doing,
incrementally merging and becoming Apache SIS here.
Thanks again :-). I have added a "Developer guide" item on the home page
pointing to https://builds.apache.org/job/sis-trunk/site/book/fr.xhtml
This is of course work in progress, and I will try to merge with the
existing SIS classes when I will reach that point (I think this will
begin when I will start working on referencing).

Wow Martin, you guys have been busy! We can certainly translate the text to
english using a machine translator. That should be pretty easy. I would
leave it up to you, though, to review it once that has happened as some of
the machine translated text looks funny.
I think it would still a significant amount of work, especially if we
try to preserve all the formatting in same time (translation has to be
done in the middle of lot of XML tags). As an alternative, there is a
university close to us with students in translation. We were considering
looking there. But it would be done only in one year or so, since I
still have to complete the document...
