Hello Chris

Yes it was great to see you, thanks for coming at OGC!

The road map proposal for 0.3 and 0.4 sound fine to me. Once SIS is able to marshall and unmarshall valid XML metadata documents, I think that would be a worthy step for a 0.3 release.

There is currently about 30000 lines of code (not counting comments) ported to SIS, according the "sloccount" tools. There is approximatively 1 million lines of code available to port, but not all of them will be ported since I would like to eliminate some redundancies.

    Martin

Hey Martin,

It was great meeting you at the OGC meeting today. I know Paul and Cameron
also had a nice time.

Just wanted to let you know.

All: just to flush some discussion back to the list too I suggested it may
make sense for an Apache SIS release soon and Martin suggested that once
the metadata module is done; and then once the reference module is done
would be great times. We could have a near term 0.3 release for the
metadata module; followed by an 0.4 release with the referencing module
making an appearance.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Chris
