Hello all I filled an umbrella JIRA task with subtasks for all coordinate operation methods (including map projections) that I found in the EPSG guide. This allow us to see what is done and what remain to be done. There is 72 subtasks, but many of them are minor variations of another subtask so the amount of "hard work" to do is much lower.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SIS-212 Coordinate operations *methods* are critical pieces of the referencing modules, as they are the classes were we implement the formulas. Those 72 methods are then referenced by the thousands of coordinate operations (without "method" word) and Coordinate Reference Systems (CRS) in the EPSG database. Many of those task can be taken independently. So they could be task for other volunteer if anyone wish. For this reason, I put by anticipation a "gsoc2016" tag on SIS-212. Martin
