As proposed one month ago [1], I created an experimental JDK9 branch
[2]. However this branch is still experimental; it does not yet build
with Maven. Unless someone propose another approach, I plan to keep the
main development on the JDK8 branch at least until the various issues
(build, javadoc, IDE integration, etc.) are resolved.
