Hello all Release of SIS 0.8 was one year ago. SIS 1.0 should have been released for a long time, but we still have 15 tasks scheduled for 1.0 [1]. Those remaining tasks are not new functionalities, but are either minor regressions not yet fixed (in particular changes related to XML marshalling of metadata), making SIS compatible with latest Java versions (JAXB, JavaDB, PACK200 gone) and verifying correctness of some mappings before we release them.
For the near future I continue to work on new SIS functionalities during some weeks (current work is on finishing the netCDF reader), but I will be able to work on the remaining tasks for SIS releases only during weekends. It makes difficult to predict when those tasks will be completed. One issue may be resolvable quickly: SIS-108 is about remaining links to incubator, but those links appears in LocationServlet dependencies. But LocationServlet has not been maintained since 2013 and contains hard-coded links that are no longer alive. Should we exclude it from the 1.0 release, in which case SIS-108 is no longer an issue?
