Hello Stéphane I'm working on SIS 1.0 release this week, trying to complete the "todo" list (fix JDK 11 compatibility, etc.) so we can start the release process. I agree that 2 years since the last release is way too long; we reported this problem to our report to Apache board last week.
I will post progress status about 1.0 release later this week and following weeks until the release is done.
