The CoverageJSON format (https://covjson.org/) is still in draft state
(https://opengeospatial.github.io/ogcna-auto-review/21-069.html).
But still, the format it usable and well documented, including examples,
after reading the draft specification I would say it is close to be final.
I will create a new module in Apache SIS and start a DataStore with a
first GridCoverage support.
The plan is not to make a full CoverageJSON implementation, the format
is still a draft and SIS do not have the API for anything other then
GridCoverage.
And then make a merge-request on geoapi-4.0.
The new module would be in /storage/sis-coveragejson and package :
org.apache.sis.internal.storage.coveragejson
