It has been pointed out on the [Apache SIS mailing
list|https://lists.apache.org/thread/l4654fgwbtd9qq8vy226mxck6072j541] that
[Derby has been retired in October
2025|https://db.apache.org/derby/#Derby+Retired]. Therefore, the
{{sis-embedded-data}} module should migrate to another database such as H2 or
HSQL.
