Apache Commons lang 3.3 [Adds a
lot|http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-lang/article3_0.html] ... and as
it doesn't ship with Hadoop, we don't have versioning problems. If we migrate
to this we don't just get the bug fixes, we get some good XML/HTML escaping
code that we can use for robust escaping of content from untrusted sources
