putting the logic in {{copyDirectory()}} isn't the place to do it -that can be
used elsewhere to copy any directory, and shouldn't contain the logic about
log4j files. Also: there's no reason not to copy up the existing log4j file, we
just change the JVM options to point to the new one if it is set
