with the split of the packaging you don't have to install them...but if you do,
the names are now set to the slider version built against. This isn't great as
it doesn't include the version of the underlying binary. Maybe every individual
app-package should just have a version like "0.60-hbase-0.99.1" to indicate a
slider 0.60 package containing hbase 0.99.1
