I'd like to push out a new release of Slider, targeting code freeze at the end of january, with the vote process starting feb 1.
This will be off the develop branch. 1. Please go to the slider scrum page to plan any work: https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=41&view=detail 2. Have a look at the backlog and see if there are any bug fixes that are easy to fix & get in. 3. Same for any issues with pending patches. 4. If are doing something big which will be incomplete, only merge into develop/ those pieces that are stable and secure As an example of #4, I've currently opened the whole of the slider ws/* URL tree to direct HTTP access for developing the SLIDER-151 rest API. I'll be changing the core settings so that this security hole is disabled: the new REST API will therefore be read only via the RM proxy. I'm planning to test locally against: secure linux & insecure windowsl in an EN locale and GMT timezone. The more combination we can get of systems locales and networks the better. The recently applied SLIDER-737 patch from Yang Hao fixes some locale problems —I'll do a scan for any use of String.toLower()/toUpper() to round things out (it doesn't map "I" to "i" and vice-versa in turkish locales) -Steve -- CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE NOTICE: This message is intended for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is confidential, privileged and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
