It would be a good idea to come up with a validation framework that runs either
on the client side or as the AM starts that could quickly catch issues with the
format or content of application packages (e.g. an invalid tar file name).
Such a framework would provide quick feedback and avoid having to debug an
application through log file analysis once it starts up (rather than failing
quickly with a descriptive message).
