just commented on the email. All the read-side operations are there; the
manipulators, specifically flex, is disabled, pending YARN's proxy supporting
more than GET.
Create isn't in the API, indeed it can't: cluster creation needs to happen in
the client, as that is what launches the App master in the first place. The way
existing automation of this works is to use the slider client as a library and
invoke the SliderClient class with the command line as a list of arguments. It
can be used to create the cluster, and then to launch it.
