I was thinking that one way to address this would be to define an optional
config group for each component. You would still have to define new
components, but they could share some configuration by having the same group.
Perhaps we could have a new section of the appConfig (maybe a peer of
components and global, with the same format as components) containing group
configs. Basically this would be a convenience so you wouldn't have to
duplicate a lot of configs in different components.
