Sorry for being late in replying ...
Thanks a bunch for taking a stab at this. Yes having a single project which
generates all the different "deployment" packages.
Here are my takes at your questions:

I agree with Bertrand that builder might be a good name -- or package. But then
I am not that good at finding names ;-)

Until now we used "app" as the classifier. I would think that it is a good idea
to continue with that.

OSGi deployment admin package comes to mind. But for now it is probably good to
have standalone app, web app and karaf (and bundle list).
