The auth/core (formerly commons/auth) module now has built-in HTTP BASIC
authentication support. Thus the current HTTP Basic authentication handler
extensions/httpauth is not used any longer and should be removed from the
source and build.
Actually the source is not really removed but moved to a new attic location.
