With the 039 staged release on my fully updated macosx 10.6.4 system I get BAD
md5/sha1 as openssl adds (stdin) to its output:
$ cat org.apache.sling.install.fileinstall-1.0.0.jar.md5 ; echo
d903fcea9bf63e8f463b87d837bea540
$ openssl md5 < org.apache.sling.install.fileinstall-1.0.0.jar
(stdin)= d903fcea9bf63e8f463b87d837bea540
