I created this issue out of the conversation in the mailing list [1].
While I can understand that others would priorize it to minor and feel that one
can work efficiently without a working debugger it feels major to me.
To reproduce the behavior the hello-world Scala sample could be used. It is
described in SLING-1907 how to get it running.
