Hi [~olli],
I’m not sure I see the namespace as unfortunate. We do use it in our product
(we serve all our scripts as bundled scripts) but that is not the main
motivation in this case. I guess I’m just not sure we should change the
namespace at this point as it is around since quite some time and several
releases already (and it would mean spreading around the change to quite some
modules).
As your main motivation was to be able to have the scripting bundles without
pulling in all of the servlets.resolver (caused by the unfortunate Karaf
resolver insistence on trying to resolve runtime dependencies as resolve time
dependencies) I would say the easiest middle ground is to just keep the
namespace and provide the package via a servlets.resolver.api bundle. Why
change more than we need especially if it is a breaking change?
