There are different things here:
* Should the converter try to preserve as much as possible? Yes
* Should this in general include install hooks? Yes
* Are install hooks suppored by AEM as a Cloud Service? Such questions are a
little bit out of scope here, but as the converter is used in these scenarios
it makes sense to talk about it. Hooks for immutable content are not supported,
hooks for mutable content are indeed supported. The user context in which these
are executed seems to be a totally orthogonal question which should be raised
elsewhere
* If hooks are not preserved today, then it makes sense to have an option to
preserve them for use cases where hooks should be preserved
