I'm not sure but are the "ugly" errors you mention the ones that look like "No
marketplace entries found to handle xxx:yyy:zzz in Eclipse. Please see Help for
more information." ?
If that is the case then maybe these should be added to the lifecycle-mapping
in the POMs aswell.
