Something like https://github.com/adobe/aem-htl-repl for repoinit would still
be highly beneficial for development purposes. In addition something like
validation at build time is useful (but for me kind of orthogonal).

existing alternative was proposed.
Update 2: I also found

which looks promising (why hasn't this been linked in this JIRA?), I would
suggest to finalize the work there and move it out of the whiteboard. Also a

would be nice.
