So (assumption A) for SLING-11736 you would add a completely new "create node" command, that has the exact same behavior as "create path" except for the behavior changes of SLING-11736 ? If that's correct, I prefer adding a [strict] option to activate this new behavior, as that makes the language smaller overall, which is a good thing in my book. But that's just different styles in the end, if my assumption A is correct I guess we'll need someone else to express their preference to see where the majority is. -Bertrand
