honestly, i really doubt that is a reasonable thing to do. what is the
requirement behind this?
the aim of the simpledavservlet in jackrabbit is to allow webdav clients to
access a jcr repository.
and dav clients are known for being limited in their ability to deal with
authentication...
on the other hand the sling authenticator adds all kind of fancy configuration
options that don't
have any meaning in a webdav client server setup and are prone to simply
disable the
webdav functionality.
