the preparations for doing our Sling 13 release are nearly finished (last release was >2 years ago, so it's really time).
please check this PR with a draft of the Sling 13 release notes: https://github.com/apache/sling-site/pull/187 it contains the new file with the release notes, and an exhaustive comment with a diff or all module changes and updates between starter 12 and 13 as a helper to identify the changes between those two version. please cross-check if you see any major improvements or notices missing from the release notes, and either add them directly to the PR, or as comment in the PR. most of the changes in the sling modules were bug fixes and minor stability improvements which do not seem to be worth to be included directly in the release notes. we also might think about including the diff output of the comparator tool in the release notes as well (with or without the jira ticket list). i want to do the sling 13 release in early january (2025). stefan
