Seems that
https://github.com/apache/sling-tooling-release/blob/222ea566619b8eaf91b2c3527c99dcee1bf72402/generate_javadoc_for_release.sh#L117
does not exclude subpackage, despite
https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/17/docs/specs/man/javadoc.html#options-for-javadoc
saying:
bq. -exclude pkglist ... Unconditionally, excludes the specified packages and
their subpackages from the list formed by -subpackages
Seems that somehow wildcards and subpackages seem to be mutually exclusive...
