Stefan Seifert commented on SLING-13104:
----------------------------------------
we have to keep in mind this needs to be compatible with older project still
relying on older oak version depending on guava. if we update to a newer oak
version without this dependency (i would like to get rid of guava as soon as
possible here as well), we are likely breaking their dependency management in
the unit tests, failing the unit tests. the oak version that is used in the
unit tests is controlled by their project context, not by oak-mock-jcr itself.
otherwise i would have updated to a guava-free oak version long ago.
> sling-org-apache-sling-testing-jcr-mock has Guava dependency

> We'd need to update to a version that does not depend on Guava (latest would
> be 1.90.0)
