## Purpose Collect the Maven settings path from inside `withMaven` in every Unix and Windows Maven matrix build. This will tell us whether the shared library can rely on a per-invocation settings copy exposed as `MVN_SETTINGS`, or must account for default agent settings. This is a diagnostic-only draft, related to the Docker Hub authentication failure discussed in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-28608. ## Change Add one `echo` before the Maven invocation, reporting `MVN_SETTINGS` or `(default agent settings)` when unset. No settings contents or credentials are printed, and no credentials, settings, or Maven arguments are changed. A companion Sling Starter PR will load `sling@diagnostics/maven-settings` to collect the diagnostic from Jenkins. This draft need not be merged to run that experiment. ## Validation - Mocked the matrix stage on Unix and Windows with both set and unset `MVN_SETTINGS`; verified the diagnostic runs before the unchanged Maven command. - `git diff --check` passes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
