just a comment from the jackrabbit point of view: as of oak (aka jr3) same name
siblings will (out of the box) not be supported any more.
from our point of view the most common use of SNS used to be: API consumer
don't care too much about the node name but
just use the same name again... in other words: rather a name hint than a real
need for proper SNS support. this kind of 'treat as name-hint'
or 'generate a name for me' was something that i could see some benefit in
having in Sling.
