it generally looks good to me, as it introduces just a more flexible HTTP
transport handler.
Besides that, it seems the patch would need to be adjusted to the latest
changes (SLING-3315 mostly) so if [~mpetria] can do that I'd be happy to review
and apply it if no one objects.
