Can you provide a scenario or automated test to reproduce the issue?
IIUC from an offline discussion this happens when running Sling on specific
servlet engines.
There's a number of tests under [1] which verify the Location header in
responses, I assume some of them should show the problem if you run them in a
problematic environment.
