The default for heartbeatInterval is 15sec currently. This is rather fast and
should be lowered to 30sec. The default heartbeatTimeout can also be upped from
45sec to 60sec. Note that this lowered chattyness and provides higher stability
in high-load situations, but also increases reaction time slightly when an
instance indeed crashes.
