My understanding is that max-width: 100% wouldn't make a difference for the
right-hand side part of my screenshot, where the image gets very wide but not
over 100% of its container.
The best might be for you to try your CSS changes on
http://sling.staging.apache.org/ , without publishing them for now, so that we
can test with our browsers.
