After eclipse startup, typically m2e does an index update.
This index update causes update-events to be sent to any registered handlers -
including the 'ChooseArchetypeWizardPage' - which refreshes the archetypes on
reception of such an event.
This results in a large number of refreshs which block the UI for a rather long
time
