Marius Petria commented on SLING-4146:
--------------------------------------
The interfaces are marked as ConsumerType because most of them are components
that can also be implemented by a using client. More explicitly
distribution.core provides some implementations, but one can define its own
queue provider, its own queue, its own package exporters/importers. We only
have the Agent and the AgentFactory as being provided.

> A briefly looked into the queue package and it seems all interfaces are
> simply marked as ConsumerType - a have the feeling that most of them are
> actually ProviderType and provided by the implementation.
