I'm all for one git repo per module - this is imho the best approach for
modular development.
When it comes to tooling, gitslave is a very old script which does not always
work on my machine (don't know why), but if it works for others, I'm fine as
well. Usually I'm only working on one module at a time, so other than getting a
full checkout of all modules there is no real tooling support needed
