We currently require Eclipse Kepler and Java 1.6 . Java 1.6 has long been out
of support and Eclipse 4.3 (Kepler) was released in June 2013.
For the next feature release it's reasonable to bump these requirements to
Eclipse Luna ( 4.4 ) , released in June 2014 and Java 1.7.
I would jump straight to Java 8 but am not sure how many users have actually
upgraded so I'll probably wait until Eclipse requires Java 8 - Eclipse Neon (
4.6 ).
