Radu Cotescu commented on SLING-5863:
-------------------------------------
I've played with the plugin and really like the way it works in Eclipse.
There are some cases though when the Sightly Compiler cannot yet report the
line in the script where a certain class of errors happened (e.g. the usage of
a non-existing block element - {{data-sly-whatever}}. In this case it seems
that line of the reported error refers to the execution tag from the plugin's
configuration in the pom. Could we improve this somehow such that we don't
report a POM error?

> Maven plug-ins can easily be made compatible with m2e for transparent
> integration with Eclipse.
> We should add this to the sightly-maven-plugin and make the compilation
> results available in Eclipse.
