Since i18n bundle is pretty widely used (even in older Sling/AEM installations)
I still think embedding a new commons.osgi is the better idea than just
depending on it. But instead of relying on manually to maintain inline
instructions I would rather prefer the approach outlined in
http://njbartlett.name/2014/05/26/static-linking.html leveraging the bnd
instruction {{Conditional-Package}}. That way all the necessary classes (even
transitive ones) are correctly embedded.
