Have you tried enabling the PDE builder for DS on the project
(https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/news/4.6/pde.php#ds-annotations) in addition?
That way even within Eclipse the annotations should be usable. I am wondering
though why the result being created from bnd-maven-plugin is not used from
within Eclipse itself.
